Bed and Breakfast Pool
The Caribbean Room - Tropical Warmth*
Love of the tropics inspired this bed and breakfast pool atrium. This wonderfully warm tropical room is decorated with original sculptures and art from Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, and other tropical destinations. The hula skirt on the wall was a present of the former owners of this lovely property.
Just off this gorgeous vaulted-ceiling room can be found the Shell Powder Room, the sauna, and a shower room for use after a dip. Towels are provided in the shower room near the bed and breakfast pool. The Shell Powder Room (as you may have guessed) is decorated in a shell motif. If you glance up, you will see a collection of shells from around the world floating on a fishing net suspended from the ceiling.
Two of our rooms, the Emerald Room and Mandarin Room, open onto the bed and breakfast pool atrium. These two rooms are highly recommended for couples who are celebrating special occasions.
Things to do in the pool atrium:
- Have your morning coffee or tea next to the lake
- Watch the geese, ducks & birds with our binoculars
- Relax in a deck chair with a book
- Float around on the pool winding down from the city
- Enjoy the host's collection of antique Japanese woven baskets
- Shower & dry off in the sauna
- Enjoy visiting here with other guests
- Organize a game of pool volleyball
- Swim laps to work off Mary's breakfasts (grin)
